PTFE Release Fabric is a high-performance release material made from fiberglass fabric coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This combination provides exceptional non-stick properties, high-temperature resistance, and excellent mechanical strength. Used as a release layer in composite laminating, vacuum bagging, and prepreg curing, this fabric prevents resin from bonding to tooling, breather fabrics, or vacuum bagging components. Unlike single-use peel ply, PTFE release fabric can be cleaned and reused multiple times, making it cost-effective for production environments.
