F40S Foam

F40S Foam is a high-performance, cross-linked PVC (polyvinyl chloride) structural foam core material designed for composite sandwich construction. With a density of approximately 40 kg/m³, F40S offers an excellent balance of mechanical properties, weight savings, and processability. It is ideal for use as a core material between carbon fiber or fiberglass skins, creating lightweight, stiff, and impact-resistant sandwich panels. The foam is compatible with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin systems and can be shaped, routed, and bonded using standard composite fabrication techniques.
